There are 5 figures of similar Snow maidens in the nest. On every doll sceneries from the popular Russian Folk Fairy Tale "Rooster and Fox " are depicted. There was once Bunny Rabbit who lived in a forest in a small pretty hut. One day Fox came and sent away him. The poor Rabbit was left in the forest and began to cry. Suddenly out of bushes came a big wolf. "Why are you crying?" he asked. The Rabbit told him what happened. "I can help you. Let's go!". They came to the hut and the wolf tried to sent fox away. But he couldn't. The Rabbit was continuing to cry. In a time a bear appeared. "Can I help you poor Rabbit?" and went to the fox. But he couldn't do it too. All together they were sitting under the tree when the Rooster's voice stop it. "What are you doing here so strange company?" asked he surprised. "We are thinking how the Rabbit can come back to his hut." answered they. "I know" sad Rooster, took the scythe and set out to the hut. The Fox was scared and run away. Very rich and bright paints including gold are used. All the drawings of this item are made by the real artist so delicate and subtle, that as a whole the doll is just breathtaking! The tallest one is 6 1/2", the smallest - 2".
