This is the best quality samovar!!!!!! Samovar Measures approx. 16 inches tall, 13 wide. Capacity 4 1/2 L,made of stainless steel. Charcoal tube in center. This wonderful samovar combines ancient with modern Russian traditions: it can be used with coals or wood or with an electric cord. Please note : the samovar is made according to the Russian electric standards: 220 W, 50 Hz. Russian samovars using 220 volts are easily converted for USA. Since USA voltage is 110 one must simply change the plug on the end of the power cord to an American one, very simple job costs under $1. It will take a few moments longer to heat the water, but it works quite well. Also, please be careful not to use the samovar without water, and be sure water level is above the heater.
