It's really huge and measures 23 1/4" high, 3 3/4" in diameter and 5" in diameter of the bottom.
Russian folk craftpersons using all their turning skills on an old-fashioned lathe and then beautifully decorated by a master of miniature painting who has signed it on the bottom. The bottle-holder made in a shape of church and richly decorated by round painting. It consist on three definite parts. Deer Hunting scene is depicted on the holder.
In work the artist used tempera with egg emulsion and fine polecat brushes.

All aspects of the scene are intricately detailed with fine lines created with precise brushwork. Gold and aluminum paints are also used to add even more detail.
